What up, Sean here

For the first time in my console gaming career I've been disrupted by the short life span of my Xbox 360 and have migrated to PC gaming. I'm running an Intel Sandy Bridge setup and it is just a pleasure to game on this new rig I've setup for my self.

It reminds me of the my first computer that played NFS Underground when I upgrade my graphics to a Radeon 9600SE back in 2003. Crysis 2 is such a masterpiece in consistency and I'm just overly satisfied by the mechanics of it all.

I'm currently studying Law but I honestly do not know here I'll wind up, I'm on have way toward my Bachelors and I'm just ignoring the pressure of everyone else and just focusing on what I'm capable of. Everyday I'm learning and finding new ways to unlock my potential, its not easy, I can tell you that!

Okay, My real name is Jeff, I'm 15, and I'm PS3/PC/Xbox 360/Part-time Wii gamer. I guess I'm an omni-gamer of some standard real crap of the world. Anyway, I live in Chatham, Illinois. I play FPS', some RPGs, some driving games, and I like multi-player games. I'm thinking of trying the Dragon Age series and I'm thinking of doing a mockumentary about video game nerds. I'm also a film guy, I review movies and video games, I have a blog, here it is: http://www.jteam95.blogspot.com

I also have a Youtube, I only post videos when I'm done with other stuff, like writing on my blog, or checking my facebook friends, or taco night. Anyway, I'm just new with this forum thing. Also, I'm also good at tech support, not complex tech support, but simple tech support. I'm also looking for someone who has artistic abilities, if you happen to have, or know someone with, artistic abilities message me and I'll see what you got!
Thanks,
JTeam95

Hello All. My name is Jim and I am one of the Top Contributors on Yahoo Answers on the Desktop section of the forum. I am primarily a hardware support person and assist gamers of all kinds, as well as just regular and business users of computers. I specialize in building gamer computers, components, systems, parts and operating system optimization. I have worked with computers since before the first PC (acutally, IBM and Honeywell Mainframes in the early 1970's). I live about 5 miles from the Intel Jones Farm Campus here in Hillsboro, Oregon and so many of my neighbors are engineers or techs at Intel - although I also advise on AMD cpu based systems as well...LOL! I came here today because of the overwhelming response we are getting on Yahoo Answers about the new release, Crysis 2. Game players are jumping up and down, wanting to know what the best hardware and software config is, best graphics card, etc...and since I need to be able to advise our listeners on Yahoo with the VERY BEST advise that can be given, I decided to pop in and join this forum. You have loads of fans out there of all ages who live, breathe and die Crysis. I left a request under the Off Topic Section here, asking all your EA experts and game players to help assist me give good advice to fellow Crysis users. Help me to help them build the best hardware gamer computers. Typically, I would say, 95% of all the people who ask about this are in the $500 - $1000 budget range (I realize you can go much higher!). I figure about 5% of our correspondents can afford to get into the $1000 - $2500 desktop or more range. So I have to give the best advice I can give realizing the monetary limits - in other words, I cannot recommend something like a recent release of an MSI board that has 8 total PCIeX16 slots on the motherboard that is SLI'd or Crossfired - its just not practical. I think the vast majority of people are on a single card or maybe two cards SLI'd or Crossfired. So I have to be real about where people are at on their money to meet the Crysis 2 game reqirements. As you can imagine, 40% of that 95% cannot afford to go over $550 on any kind of new computer - so yes, they are not able to probably play Crysis 2 with highest settings and best frame rate - but what CAN they do with Crysis 3 on a budget computer? Also, we have people asking about laptops (Alienware in particular, of course!)...and while I am in desktops I help assist people with laptops if they stray into the desktop section for advice. So it would be really helpful to hear from any/all of you in this forum about hardware requirements to meet the game requirements. What hardware do you have now? What are you thinking of upgrading or buying? Do you build your own computer or have it built? Do you prefer nVidia or ATI? Intel or AMD? Asus, Gigabyte, MSI etc for a motherboard? How many gigs of RAM are you using? All of this information would be a big assitance to me in helping people build new computers or upgrading hardware to meet Crysis 2 gameplay requirements. Thanks everyone and I will be checking in to this forum, from time to time to read up on things. You are always welcome to write to me on Yahoo at:

jim_in_oregon@yahoo.com

Please mention you are on the Crysis or Crysis 2 game forum

Thanks again - Jim

Sup! New to the Crysis forum and the Crysis games in general. I'm not much of a PC gamer so I missed out on the first game, but Crysis 2 for consoles caught my attention and I've been playing it non-stop! I love this game and look forward to being an active member of the community!
