[REQ] inventory UI from morrowind

People are saying that the inventory UI in Oblivion was better than Skyrim. I disagree and believe to both be very similar in design. You have several tabs on both to nagivate through in order to see all of your information, and when you have a larger resolution, the inventory doesnt adjust accordingly so you can see more.

I am just here to say that if a UI overhaul were to be done, it should be done in the spirit of Morrowind where, upon entering the inventory, you had every single window available to you without tabs. The separate windows (eg stats and character, spells, map, and inventory) could be resized and moved to your liking, they could be stickied (stay on the UI when you return to gameplay), and larger resolutions were accounted for by the increased number of screen space you could use.

I wanted this in Oblivion too, and, although a few mods tried to reinvent the Morrowind inventory on top of the Oblivion system, they only built upon the tabbed menu items and screen space that Oblivion had already hard coded.

Thoughts?

This would be preferable.

I'm not sure this is possible. It's way too early to tell, but they've most likely sectioned off the different menus much like Oblivion/F3. If the inventory is open, none of the other menus get updated. Morrowind had only one menu mode (apart from the journal) covering several menus.
