"Investing" perk broken?

Post » Sun May 20, 2012 12:23 am

So I tried out the investing perk. It says when you do it it raises the stores gold by 500 permanently . Well It doesn't, it works once then when you go back, the store is back at its original gold. Or am I just not understanding this perk right?

That perk is kind of bugged. Sometimes my invested vendors don't have any extra gold, but other times they have A LOT of extra gold. The RIverwood Trader in particular tends to have about 12,000 gold. If he'd sell the arrows I need he'd be the only shop I visit (Bethesda, don't feel the need to patch that one out).

Have to check out that guy, I have some expensive stuff to get rid of and no one has enough gold, unless I take the hit.

I have a problem at the Solitude potion apothocary where the option to invest is greyed out but still keeps comming up anytime I go there. Her gold hasn't updated but I can still use her. Hasn't broken the game.

I have noticed that it's not a blanket to all that have the option to transact business.

Even if it's greyed out, have you tried it anyway or did you already invest and the option is still present?
