I pick an fire spell, and I see fire burning in my hand.. I pick an alteration spell and I see squares orbitting a larger square....

I pick an illusion spell.... just invisibility, and all i see is just a glob of ... well... magic? There is no animation.

I've only seen a few threads on the internet that address this problem... and all of them have been confused for some other problem, so I'm going to be clear on this.

To be clear -- there is nothing wrong with my illusion spell functionality. I cast the spell, and I turn invisible, and I can sneak past enemies. I have no problem with the spell after it is cast.
It is *only* when you have the invisibility spell equipped in your hand. It looks like you are just holding a multicolored rock.

Ive tested this on two computers, one, a relatively old computer, and a beast computer I just built. Even on max settings it still doesnt animate. I was actually shocked to see this happen on an entirely different machine and hardware.

I also have no mods that alter the invisibility spell or the hand animation nif, or any mods that alter the look of any spells.

This also happens with no mods activated.

This ever happen to anyone?

Yeah, I always thought it was a bit odd. You woukd think it would have an animation.
