so last night i finally broke down and checked out what the deal with these invisible chest's were. i made the mistake of doing it on my main and now i feel like she is tainted lol. so my question is this, how do you view the chest's and how do you utilize them. obviously they are an exploit, but to what extent?

personally, i wont be touching them again with this character. at least im gonna try...... im just gonna try to pretend they arent there, but now that i know they are there...... ARRGGGH

I never use them. I've watched the video on the location of the Dawnstar one and still couldn't really find it heh.

I only accessed them with a character that was already well established (actually pretty much completed all the quests I was going to do with her) and did not need anything in the chest anyway. I just took a few soul gems and some gold and left the rest but I don't come back to the same chest regularly. With new characters, I don't go near them.

I don't exploit them - there's no need. It's not like it's hard to come across septims and high-end weapons in this game anyway.

my lv 40 character went through the draugr crypt Valthume. just about every deathlord (a good 8-10 of them in there) all had ebony weapons and shields. Those are worth a lot and the money for selling them was good. Sure its hard work early on to make some good money. But thats how it should be.

You just gotta know where to look.
