Issue removing Voice of the Emperor via console.

Post » Sun May 20, 2012 10:28 pm

I was trying to remove "Voice of the Emperor" from my imperial character. I searched for it using:
help "voice of the emperor"4

I got several results, one of which was a SPEL record. However, I tried player.removespell formid and it says that the spell isn't found on my character. However, it clearly is. The formid shows as 000e40ca in the console and skyedit, but it won't remove the spell. Any ideas?

It doesn't work on racial powers. Tested it on my Dunmer, tried to move his Ancestor Guardian and it gave me the exact same garbage.

Ahh, that's annoying. Thanks for letting me know. It's not that big of an issue. I did manage to get rid of imperial luck at least.

You can use Skyedit to get rid of them, just edit the race files. Still can't figure out how to get rid of their starting spells, though...

I thought about using Skyedit, but I've had some issues with it glitching races after I altered something. I'll probably just wait until the CK is out. Thanks for the info though. :)
