Ok so I buy the game on release date. Not the best idea but hey, fallout 3 is a great game. Wish fallout new vegas ran as SMOOTHLY as fallout 3 does. It seems like fallout new vegas is CHOPPY...... NOT SMOOTH running. Plus I cant zoom out very much while in 3rd person. I.E. I can only use the mouse wheel to zoom out only SO much..... as opposed to fallout 3's complete zoom out on 3rd person view to where u can see ur whole character and his followers if any and etc (see fallout 3 zooming out with mouse wheel). Game crashed the first time i got within 7ft'ish away from Mojave Express Building in Primm. Numerous crash's for unknown reasons. Every crash has reset my saves to the first save i made on that character or my first AUTOSAVE...... at the depot guy in goodsprings.... i think is the first town. I would count about 5 crashes. Unrelated, my fallout 3 always crashes out like theres a program error when i select "exit game".

MAJOR issues across the board need to be addressed. IMO requiring STEAM to play game is PATHETIC.... who's idea was that? Honestly........ Having to log onto an ONLINE account for a SINGLE PLAYER game is rediculous.... honestly who's idea was that cause i feel its forefeited your performance as far as a game goes SINGLEPLAYER-wise. MINUS 100 points for terrible planning there............................. Steam in itself is lame... but to have to log onto steam just to play fallout 3's post-game is [censored].

Here's my issues:

Fallout 3 ran like a piece of trash even after all patches/add-ons. No matter what I did to fix it, the game constantly crashed repeatedly. Since I got FNV, I haven't had a crash or major technical issue besides the obvious lag/stutter when multiple NPCs are on screen that everyone is getting. I think the transition from GFWL to Steam was a big leap in compatibility. I know FNV has major problems for a lot of people, but it's funny how I am the opposite and experienced more problems with FO3 than FNV.

my fallout 3 "runs" like a champ, but crashs EVERYTIME I exit game. I will be "grateful" that I can LAUNCH Fallout New Vegas WITH mercenary package. But I still crash at various points in the game. If Bethesda would like to use me as a QA tester I would LOVE the opportunity to HELP correct the malfunctions of the game. I am QUITE descriptive with my words and could help you LOADS of the way to gettting this game NON-TOPSIE-TERVY.

Likewise, my FO3 error crashs out everytime I exit. Plus I've had crashs on my fallout3 when in 3rd person while shooting a combat shotgun at prime range, about 10ft game distance speaking, away. 2x's its done that. And for fallout new las vegas. is there supposed to be fire in the "campfire". Cus if its not an open flame it SHOULD be called "Fire Pit" and not confused with something that is active like a flame on wood.
