Issue with this forum on iPad?

Post » Sat May 12, 2012 11:16 pm

Does anyone using an iPad to read the forums have issues with threads not fully loading?
Like every third or fourth page load requires me to re-load the page, and even that doesn't always work.

I don't recall non-JBed iPad allows browsers other than Safari.

You can get browsers on a leg iPad in the app store

Edit good ones cost, but you can get a browser that changes the fonts and stuff for free which is pretty groovy

I use Dolphin on my Android; which I'm using now and I have to reload every few pages as they don't load.

Haven't tried an alternate browser. This is the only forum I noticed the issue with.

Try mercury browser and see if you have the same problem.
Could be a problem with the mobile theme, unless you're not using it. Have you tried other forum themes?

No I haven't. I'll try another theme, and if that doesn't help maybe I'll try an alternate browser. Its not a huge deal, but the iPad is convenient for reading the forums while still hanging with the family.

Try Opera Mobile (Not Opera Mini! Mini is made for old phones with slow processors, the processing is done on an Opera server. Opera Mobile uses your phone's processor.) I love it and it works the forum here perfectly.
