Issues at the quest: A Cornered Rat

Post » Thu May 17, 2012 3:53 am

Hello.

So basicly so far I havent had any issues until this stage of the game.
I went to hes cell/hidout. When I press (E) to talk to him I hear nothing. (dialogs show up, but he wont say anything)
I checked if my game was otherwise fine and it was.

OK that was only the secondary issue.
Real one is that I cant even get in. I managed to convince him to open the door. Conversation ends and he unlocks the door, however I cannot open it even tho how many times I press E.
I tried relogging and reinstalling the game in steam. Also tried to reload and stuff. Nothing works.

/edit:

I also tried to change sounds in my control panel into 44100 Hz (Studio Q)
That didnt even fix the dialog sounds with the old man.

I did some research in the google and the only thing that was helpful was that I have to wait for the patch to fix this.. Are you serious? I mean I'm sure there is another way if alot of ppl have made it so far?

Still nothing? This is kinda annoying tbh cos I dont wanna force teleport to the NPC. Seems like the npc is kinda in big role so I wanna hear the dialog.

Oki so I got past that by using console teleport and bugging the npc to move. But now I'm at the table where the general and the rebel king is having a negotiation. All goes well until the damn old farts dialog comes and here we go again all buggy and cant past that level. I tried loading 4 times with different ways and still hes turn comes and nothing happens. I srsly loved all ES series but this one is a big failure... You release a game that is totally buggy and it seems to me lika beta stage more than a real game itself.

Edit: Yeh I had to use “setstage mq302 300” Command in order to get past that dialog.
How amusing to miss all the story in the RPG game wich is the most important part for me. Also It feels like I'm more like a game maker than user :D
