Item menu question

Post » Wed May 09, 2012 6:09 pm

Hey everyone...really stupid question, hopefully hasn't already been covered. In the items menu, what is the little triangle that appears next to certain items (swords, armor, etc.)?

Thanks for the help!!!

That tells you that the item is currently equipped on your character.

If you're talking about the little arrow type thing to the left of the item, that means it's equiped.

No, the little triangle to the right of the item name. Not the larger arrow on the left, indicating what is equipped.

I think equipment has an "up" arrow next to it if it's better than what you currently have equipped.

I think it means that it has a better rating than what you have equipped.

Beaten to it. :P

If this is true, that would be very helpful!

I just checked. It shows up on every item with the greatest rating / damage in your inventory, including arrows, whether it's equipped or not.

You guys got it almost right.

The little triangle to the right has nothing to do with if the item is equipped or not. It just means that it's the best item for its "type" (1h, 2h, Bow, Armor slot etc).

Yeah, I had to google that one when I first noticed it. Not explained in the manual.

No, it means that you've put that item in your favorite list.

That is the one to the right of the name.

P.S.

Forgive me, brain fart. Thought he said left in his above reply. Confused posts.

This is the correct answer. Press F while over an item in your menu and it will be loaded into your favorites. You can select from these while playing if you press Q. Also, while hovering over items you may select a number between 1 and 8 to hotkey that item.

I think people are confused because there are 3 triangles and the OP did not specify what he meant

The little triangle to the left indicated if the items is one of your favourites.

The big triangle to the left means the item is equipped.

The small triangle to the right indicates best in slot (irregardless if equipped / favourite)
