This is a discussion thread for the TV series 24, which focuses on Jack Bauer and the Counter Terrorism Unit of America preventing terrorists attacks. 24 episodes in a season, each episode covers an hour in real time.

I just finished up the series (8 seasons and a telemovie). 24 is incredulous, unapologetically ridiculous, and plagued by poor writing. A roller coaster ride of quality, I think if it wasn't so long with filler it would have been received better. By season six, I was tired of the same old shenanigans.

I thought Jack Bauer made a good main character, sociopathic and was arrested more than any other character ever. But still cool. Chloe O'Brian was my favorite, along with David Palmer.

Was the infant a suspected terrorist?

It's not torture anymore, it is "enhanced interrogation", and as such perfectly acceptable, unless you happen to be a human being.

But this is interesting. I never got into 24 maybe 2 or 3 episodes and I stopped.

I remember when it was the "in" thing to watch, but I just never could get into it. Although I think Kiefer fits the role well enough though

It got sort of ridiculous as the guy kept saving the day in 24 hours, over and over.
