I was hoping for community help with a graphics problem I'm having.
I have an Intel i7-2600k processor. I also have a GTX670 graphics card with 2GB VRAM. Finally, I have an Intel SSD. I have 8GB of RAM.
I am running on Windows 8, although I had the problems I'm about to describe on Windows 7 too.
My nvidia drivers are fully updated and I have run with rollbacked drivers and new ones, including beta drivers.
I have patched the game to its most current version.
I have a 850W power supply and great cooling on my system. The CPU and video card never go about 45-50 degrees celsius. I am not overclocking.
I am playing the game on a 1920x1080 monitor with 100,000:1 contrast.
HERE IS THE PROBLEM I AM HAVING:
When I play many games - Skyrim, Dishonored, GTA IV, etc, I get a weird distortion of lines at the edges of walls and corners. The lines look like little jigsaws and the lines seem to "move" as I walk around, only when I'm moving.
Additionally, when I look at trees in the distance, they look like they are almost flickering when I move.
I also tried running the game on a ATI 7970 card and also tried a second Nvidia card so I am fairly sure it isn't that I have a burnt card or anything like that.
Please help if you have any ideas what's going on. I've tried everything and have this problem with so many games.
Thanks a lot in advance
