Im new to skyrim, I have 1bounty and the guard come talk to me: I choose go to jail. Freeze. Nothing happens. The game just freeze.

I tried to pay for my bounty to get rid of it then do a crime to go to jail: Nope. The game still freeze when i choose to go to jail.

Help would be appreciated, the game works fine except that but this .... me off.


I can post my dxdiag if you want.

Theres only 1thing I can think if its not a bug: Recently after I installed skyrim I did update my nvidia drivers.


Atm i did delete local content and downloading the game again see if this change something.

reinstall the game dont fix my problem.

Scyl can you please clarify what exactly is happening?

You have to use your bedroll to serve time or use the single lockpick on the door to escape.

I am assuming that your pc just freezes on loading or are you able to move?

If this is the same problem it's a complete freeze as soon as the option to go to jail is chosen. Can still go to jail at earlier saves.
