I wonder which weapons to give for her, two swords or a sword/shield? For a warrior, she is good? I'm tired of Lydia...

Depends how you play. I personally, as a warrior, like my follower to be a warrior class. If I have sword/shield, then I either have my follower with a Greatsword or the same as me. Why? Well...

1. Both Greatswords: tank out that bandit lair.

2. Both Sword and Shield: tactical elimination, and we always War Tortoise with the shields, so we're untouched by arrows on our approach.

3. Different weapons: Mix things up, make the enemies rethink their attack.

Janessa is more of an archer so I usually hire her if I want someone to hang back and support me with a bow instead of getting in my way in a melee (like Lydia). I usually give her a sword and shield. She is capped at level 40 where as Lydia's level cap is 50.

Janessa? Archer? She's a dual wielding badass.

Easily one of the best followers.
