I've joined the legion but where do I sleep?

Post » Sun Jun 03, 2012 11:35 am

I'm level four, miles away from being able to buy a house and I was hoping I would get a bunk and chest in the barracks under Castle Dour when I joined the legion but they're all owned. So where do I sleep? The Thieves Guild gives you a bed and a chest, the College of Winterhole gives you an entire cubicle. Why doesn't the legion give you a rack?

Is there anywhere I can at least store my stuff in Solitude?

Thanks.

The Legion never rests. Okay, I haven't joined them on any character yet, though I realize you have to talk to Rikke about joining. Is there no place at all with an unowned bed in Solitude? You may have to sleep at the inn, or find a bedroll someplace.

I'd recommend someone tested this out one more time, but the barrel inside whiterun (next to the blacksmiths place) doesn't seem to respawn. I stored there some of my stolen goods because I couldn't sell them, thinking they'd disappear, but playing and playing and playing, I came back to them and they were still there. Boy was I surprised.

You can sleep in the bedrolls in any of their camps. Also if you investigate the officer's bedroom, I'm sure one of them will be unowned. Although you might wake up to see General Tullius next to you.

where did you sleep before?

if those don't do it for you in your playstyle the bedrolls and even a cot in the tent by Galmar's post at a couple of the camps will let you sleep there, even though I kinda thought it was Galmar's.

I was hoping to set myself up a little nest in the barracks with the other men, but I guess I'll just have to stash everything in those barrels in Whiterun.

A serious oversight that.
