why can't i join game in multiplayer??

I have same problem, i have only connected to a game once. I tried to access in excess of 50 servers. On the rare occasion i manage to get into what looks like the lobby, but it then says i have lost connection. Please advise on ETA of patch. This game at the moment is a waste of money.
