Jordis is mad at me!

Post » Thu Jun 07, 2012 8:23 pm

So I was gonna marry Jordis, but then i decided not to, and I just didn't attend my wedding (went to jail instead). When I got back to Proudspire, Jordis complained about me breaking her heart or whatever, and I was like "I never loved you anyway" (cuz the only other option was to marry her again) and she got mad at me, and now she won't be my follower anymore. Is there anyway to fix this, or is it just gonna be weird between us from now on?

THIS IS WHY YOU DON'T DATE EMPLOYEES

This is why you shouldn't break a person's heart, especially the person who is sworn to protect your possessions and life.

Totally true. I guess from a technical standpoint, dumping her probably lowered her relationship rank with me enough so that she wouldn't be a follower anymore or something. I still can ask her about being a thane and what's a housecarl, but the option to ask her to follow me no longer appears.

I tried dropping a bunch of weapons and jewelry in front of her to see if she'd ask me for it, but she ignored me.

I'd told her to stay at my house while I finished the companions questline. She showed up at the wedding, now I can't find her anywhere.

What really svcks is she was carrying 20 - 25 ebony ingots so that I could craft my next set of armor.

Damn.

Have you tried leaving $100 on the nightstand? :nono:

Hmm, is there a hidden relationship level in skyrim or something? perhaps something could be tweaked with the console if you so desired.

MEh, this is why the charm spells in oblivion were useful :D Charm spell 100pts for 2 seconds. Cast it on NPC and talk to NPC. Auto freeze time effect applies, and NPC becomes your lifelong pal for 2 ingame seconds but an eternity in real life.

I had this with the orc from Kolskeggr when I was 5 minutes late for the wedding. I didn't realise he had extra dialogue until much later in the game when I bumped into him outside the mine.

I can't get her to trust me enough to leave the house with me anymore, how am I supposed to sacrifice her?

Tried casting Pacify, but it did nothing to her dispostion. I shot it at her and she was like "Woah," and glowed green but she still doesn't like me anymore.

Is there a console command to "summon" lost followers? I want my damned crafting supplies.

I have enjoyed using Jordis as a follower with 2 previous characters without any problems. My third character (Breton Mage) is having "issues" with her.
I dont know if she is mad with him, but he is certainly pissed with her.

- On one quest she kept shooting him in the back with arrows, long after the enemy was dead. He just looked at her like "wtf".

- Then he dropped his stolen Dibellan statue in his home in Solitude to place on a shelf. When he went to pick it up, she called for the guards.

- This character admits to being somewhat of a perv, and worked hard for 100 pickpocket and perfect touch. Lydia, Eola and his wife Ria look absolutely
stunning in their enchanted forsworn attires. Jordis catches him everytime he attempts to pickpocket her ugly steel armor, and refuses to get with the
program. If this continues, the prude is going to have a very unfortunate accident on their next mis-adventure.
