So, before anyone asks, I AM the thane of Solitude and have bought Proudspire manor.
I own all possible properties and change followers every so often (I get bored of them after a while and like a change)
I changed from Jordis to a different follower the other day and now she has disappeared?!
She is not in proudspire manor and i do not know where she is?!
I cannot remember where I was when i told her 'its time to part ways' But i think it may have been in the Dark brotherhood sanctuary so i'll check there.
Please reply if you can help or if you have experienced this before

Followers / housecarls can take quite a while to get home, and they don't always take the most direct route. I'd give it a few in-game days to see if she turns up. I once dismissed Lydia in Winterhold after she got me killed three times. It took her a looong time to turn up back at Breezehome again.

He just stepped out to the pub is all. If you go looking for him, you may find he wandered off in a drunken stupor and is now laying face down passed out in the woods.

Its been about 2-3 in game weeks since i last saw her.. she couldnt have died as she was wearing legendary drragon armour and an ebony blade :/ im so confused
