I won't ruin anything, but the very last scene in the Thieves Guild questline made me jump a bit. Didn't expect her to pop out like that!

Wandering too close to a bush, which promptly beaned me in the face with a battleaxe. Backed off feeling VERY confused and a little put out, and watched as a skeleton (which seemed to be grinning more than they already do) emerged from the leaves.

The CoD player inside me was screaming blue murder about campers...

Not so much as scaring me, but more of a "Holy [censored] are you kidding me?" is a ways down the Dark Brotherhood quest line...

Getting chewed up by a dragon finisher when I had more than half of my health made me pretty jumpy. As for scary moments, the falmer cave had me a bit nervous. Had no idea how strong those things were.

The only thing so far is when the dragon shows up during the tutorial. When my controller shook in my hands I nearly peed my pants.

Pretty much any time there's a spider. In the early stages there's a quest that leads you to do battle with a giant spider, I just couldn't look at it. It was illuminating for me because I never knew my arachnophobia was that bad, but apparently it is. I hid and sniped it with arrows till it fell over. The little ones I can just about deal with ok, I look at them as exposure therapy, but I don't want to see any more giant ones :(

Somewhere near Ivarstead (I think), I strolled into a bandit encampment. I was instantly attacked by 2 bandits. These guys were no ordinary bandits, they has a much higher level than me.

So I'm instantly taking a lot of damage, and just as one of those bandits is about to give me his "coup de grace", I swear, a wild bear jumps out of the woods and destroys the two bandits in a matter of seconds.
Confused by what just happened, I just stood there looking in total shock. The bear then turned to me and attacked. I didn't stand a chance :-)

That was an awesome random moment.

Glad I'm not the only one.

For some reason I was under the false illusion that giants were, peaceful creatures. That is un till I stumbled in to their camp, I ran to the nearest city with 2 giants and 3 mammoths chasing me :D

I was in a part of the wilderness where you could see for miles around anything coming. So I only go and crap myself when an assassin tries to knife me in the back. http://i1122.photobucket.com/albums/l528/Lady-Mara-2/assassin2.jpg, and search his body for clues. I find a http://i1122.photobucket.com/albums/l528/Lady-Mara-2/assassin1.jpg Some bastard only wants me dead! I might go and find this Astrid guy and tell him if his client wants the freaking dragonborn dead, he'd better send a better assassin than the first one.

When I turned a corner in the first dragon wall dungeon and found a giant spider right on top of me. That startled the hell out of me.

Then, when I was fighting a dragon, I ran down a mountain, lost track of it, I heard a roar, turned, and a bear was right in my face.

Oh, and the best. I was walking through a town and...
Spoiler
I was looking for someone. I turned a corner, went up a small rise, and a woman, crouched over an open grave said, "You smell as though you've been wounded." (might be paraphrasing there) she then rose and sprang at me. I gave her a blast of fire breath and she died instantly, but she'd startled, even scared the hell out of me.

So much fun!!
