..doesn't mean you have to as well. What is with that? Charge $9.99 a month or something. I know it does not sound like a big deal, but in the midst of all these compliants it might be a happy medium.
The Guild Wars 2 team said the cost of initial box sales was more than enough to cover future maintenace etc with a cash shop that does not intrude. The cash shop in GW2 does not intrude on content. Zenimax is sayiong that by charging a monthly fee you wont run into any content walls. This is a lie. Others have done this without content walls. I can go everywhere and see everything in GW2.
With so many options out there these days a monthly fee makes me think much more than its used to. Now, I have to really think if I am devoted enough to spend a whole month on one game. Whereas with GW2 I can come and go as I please. Elder Scrolls fans are single player RPG fans. Wouldnt you want to charge them a box cost and then no subscription fee? Or is this game not geared towards Elder Scrolls fans?
