Just bought game UNPLAYABLE, Crashing, Music jumping : Crysis

Hi ive just bought the game and its been unplayable. First level played fine then as i got on a bit music started jumping game was crashing. Tryed uninstall then reinstall to no avail. One time it even had @ signs at the front of all the text looked like the program code. Once i got to where i am in the game now it crashed at every checkpoint so restarted level went fine untill next checkpoint where music jumped then stopped then game crashed my ps3. This doesnt happen with any other game ps3 is 2 months old and this is the first game to crash my system

anyone else having these problems and is there a patch due out to address this

I've played through the game a couple times haven't had any of those problems.

I haven't had a problem with it yet, COD crashes my PS3 more lol.

Those are some big problems but havnt heard anyone else have them.
So no, it prolly wont be in the patch.
I think it may just be your copy of the game.

EA is doing a thing where if u send in ur game they will send u a new copy still wrapped so u can get a new refund or see if it works better so u should try to get a hold of them

all i wanted was some help to get the game sorted. Game looks sweet from what ive played and really wanna get into it and get on mp when its back up. So trolling was not my intended purpose

Oh yea, because if somebody has a different problem then you, they must be a troll.

To the OP, those problems sound alot like some of the crashing issues the Xbox is having, someplayers are unable to get past certain check points without the Xbox freezing, or the game crashing. Also, I wouldn't get your hopes up over the next patch, it has done nothing to the Xbox version, and the Hotfix they released has been erased by the latest patch.
