So, just bought a PS2

Post » Tue Aug 06, 2013 10:59 pm

Since I mostly missed out on the PS2 because I bought a GameCube that generation, and nothing this upcoming generation has convinced me yet, I'm looking to build up a decent PS2 library. I'm not looking for any genres in particular, so anything goes.

Currently I have:

Katamari Damacy

Viewtiful Joe

Persona 4

Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition

Metal Gear Solid 3 Subsistence

Okami

God Hand

God of War II

Did you enjoy Persona 4? If you did, I'd really recommend getting Persona 3 FES.

NFL street 2 is pretty much the funnest game in the universe. NBA Street isn't bad either, this gen has accomplished nothing close to these games.

I'll second gta san andreas, a truly amazing game.

There are really a lot of good ps2 games, I'm glad I don't have one anymore because I wouldn't have time to play multiple games. PS3 is perfect because it has one good game.

Cabela's hunting games on ps2 are an extremely relaxing way to spend a rainy day, there's a couple on ps3 too but they ruined them, which is pretty typical for most series actually.

Star Wars Battlefront II

Army Men: Sarge's Heroes 2

Burnout

Need for Speed Carbon

Need for Speed Most Wanted

Ghost Recon Jungle Storm

Crash Bandicott

FIFA 2003

GoldenEye: Rogue Agent

Hitman games

James Bond Nightfire (on of my favourite games)

I'll call it quits here, so many to choose from, and then there's the backwards compatibility adding even more games.
