I finally picked up the Steam copy of Skyrim last night since it went on sale for 50% off.

But when I start the game, I'm taken to the main menu and am greeted with very low graphics. The dragon is a pale, metallic blue and the "smoke" is just large gray squares. And when I try to either exit or start a new game, it freezes.

Please help? I've tried my graphics at both high and ultra, both of which my GTX 560 Ti 448 should be able to handle. I've also tried adjusting the sound card settings tweak people have mentioned, but I'm already at 48k. Lastly, as far as I know, Steam should automatically update Skyrim to the latest version, right? Though when I boot it up, there's nothing at the start menu to indicate a version.

Thanks.

EDIT: Nevermind guys, looks like I just had to restart Steam to get the update going. Tee-hee, sorry :P Still adjusting from my console days.
