I really liked the "horned scale" armour pieces I found. I never got a complete set of it, but the helm and the chest piece combined with "normal" scale armour boots and bracers looked really good. Went well with my Khajiit.

For the more unique stuff, nightgale armour, but I think most people really do love, so it's "mainsteam".

Ebony Armor looks great, as does Dwarven. I also love Leather armor for my light character. Steel (sleeveless) looks awesome on my big ol orc. Also, the Nightingale armor looks sweet for a their/assassin..

Hmmm, havent found Ancient Nord Armor yet, and I'm level 30. Plenty of AN weapons though.

Daedric armor looks awesome but I prefer ebony weapons. Daedric weapons seem a little messy.

Well I love light armor. I wish there were awesome Leather armors to create with the smithing skill, but I'm not one for the Dwarven/Elven (which ever one is light. I get these two confused) armors. So right now I'm using the Nightingale set.

Yes the Nightingale set is "mainstream" which svcks, but those of us who like to be thieves/stealthy find this set extremely helpful. I wish, like I stated above, that there were better leather armors to smith together :[

I like both of these. I use Volsung mask right now, with full Glass armor. The armor looks pretty cool, but I don't really like the bulkiness of it, especially considering it's light armor.

That's also my favorite piece of armor! I love the horned scale helm and and armor. For a woman, the female version of the Savior's Hide is HOT!
