You need to wait for Aussie unlock for some reason. Not sure why.

bah humbug, not happy lol... we don't often get to beat you in much, now we cant even beat you with time on our side lol. Ah well, ill just have to hang around here then, luckily i loaded up on coke/crisps and dont have work tomorow, might flick through the game guide i picked up too, but dont want to spoil too much for myself on first playthrough. Do you have a link to the exact time till unlock? it just says approx on steam website

Same, snatched the game from the postman, sprinted upstairs to find 13 hours to unlock lol. Looks like its time to get back in bed, get some sleep so i can play all night :P. On a side note, is there anyway to pre-load via the retail dvd?

good idea, nz bandwith caps svck though so i think i wont dll it off steam and just wait lol. Would have been nice to just be able to play games liike in the old days without steam activation, or at least steam should activate it accordingly for each country.

Dear Steam,

I live in New Zealand, which is in the time zone GMT+12. Australia is a totally seperate country, the east coast of which is in time zone GMT+10. There is a two hour difference between us. The rivalry between New Zealand and Australia is very high most of the time. You insult me and everyone else from New Zealand by lumping us with Australia. Why must you [censored] us over? My opinion of Steam has been steadily and greatly decresing over the past 6-12 months, and this is another nail in the coffin. The fact that I went to a midnight store opening and bought a hard copy instead of preloading through steam should tell you all you need to know of my opinion of steam. I no longer use it unless it's required, and even then I don't pay steam for it.

Someday it will get to the point where I will boycot games that require steam. It isn't there yet but it's certainly heading that way. Please treat your customers like people instead of sheep.

Thank you.

A disgruntled user.

Dear Steam,

In reference to Cobalt38's mail, I would like to add. How about us of the time zone GMT +8? It doesn't even unlock today but tomorrow. Wouldn't that make it a 12th release instead of a 11th?

:flamethrower:

Thank you,
An extremely unhappy customer

I have to agree in a way, either steam or bethesda, two countries in two different time zones should be treated as such, although in saying that it shoudl also be up to the retailer to let customers know of this, as i had no knowledge that the game would unlock at 2am when the game officiall comes out at 12am. Not a biggie, but it is a bit of a buzz kill to get home put the game in eagerly awaiting your journy to be told that , 'na you guys gotta wait even though youve got the game right there' lol. No activation would be ideal, or at the very least an activation that was based on a countries time zone.

I dont think most people would have known this, most customers will not frequent forums or other places and will just want to play the game, and with retailers and steam not mentioning this adequatly its easy to understand the frustration. Anyway, only 40 mins to go. yahooo!

No Im not.

Its still you whos a fool for not looking at the information which tells you that the game is not available, OH, and by the way, Steam doesnt set release timers, Bethesda does, why arent you displeased with Bethesda aswell?

Youre extremely ignorant in your posts so far.
