Am I just lucky?

So after ~10 days of reading comments on the forums about problems on ATi video cards, I received my copy from Amazon today.
I installed it on steam, and started playing the game.

Result? Constant 60 fps, 1920x1080 resolution and no problems at all (besides the slight texture popin but it's almost not noticable). It's working great for me!

In case you are wondering about my specs:

Win 7 64-bit
8 GB RAM
ATi HD 5850, driver Cat. 11.8
AMD Phenom 965 x4 CPU

I'm in the same boat as you but without any texture popping. I'm curious as to what other people have on their machines that are causing conflicts with RAGE.

Well some people got to play rage from day one stable and others did not. On Oct 4th I got my Rage and so did my husband his computer ran it 100% stable w/ not one issue to date. I on the other hand I ran around for 6 days looking for a fix for my screen freeze and low Fps. On the 6th day I found the correct settings to put in a Rage config and start up command line and now I can also play stable. I was mad as :swear: as my computer should have been able to run Rage from day one. In a sick way I was lucky as I knew Rage could run stable due to my husbands computer. It took him 14 hrs to play it in single player and get it done and it took me 6 days just to be able to play :pinch: The kicker is my box is stronger and faster then the husbands computer and yet I had the issues
