My lord is there a difference!

Immediately booting it up and Skyrim's launcher setting me to 'ultra high' felt very, very good. Not to mention I started running around downloading texture packs left and right. Coming from 7 year old hardware I had no idea what computers were capable of. At one point I could even count the leaves that had fallen onto the floor.

I'm just mentioning this because I feel like I've rediscovered the game, I'd been getting very bored on the PS3 and with the lack of DLC it just exacerbated the problem. I have Dawnguard now and I'm excited as anything to get that underway (what's best to do first: Vampire or Dawnguard?).

Has anyone else done this? Not specifically from PS3 but from one platform to another and discovered a new lease of animated life?

I went from Ps3 to Xbox. Dlc, less framerate dips, less texture downscaling, but not a huge difference. I envy you though PC and all..
