Besides where you go, I find travelling Merchants sometimes have a piece or two. For some reason, I find a lot of those merchants in Novac where I have my hotel room. Try Briscoe in the T-Rex shop while you're there. The Pawn Shop in Westside had some. The 'Gun Runner' (and sometimes others) under the bridge at the 188 Trading Post too. That, and it was suggested to me by a forum member I take the 'Jury Rigging' Perk. I'm glad I did. My armor repair issues have gone down a LOT.

you use the goodsprings trader? i pretty much exclusively shop at the gun runners now-a-days. you can always find better armor that what you can buy, more stylish too (in my experiance at least), tell me what ya had in mind and i'll see if i know a place you can find it

something that would fit Veronica very well i dont think power armour + melee would work to well tho so light to medium armour

I usually find armor when I walk around the Mojave... it's called LOOT! At higher levels raiders will drop leather armor and reinforced leather armor. Also, what did you do with all the armor you picked up from the DLCs? o.0 Boone is wearing Joshua Graham's armor in my current game. I have reinforced leather armor on my other characters.

Gun Runners is pretty much my exclusive shop for mods, ammo, and to sell stuff, but I don't usually buy armor. I either loot it or get it from DLCs.

If you do Cass' Companion quest, at one point you will pick up some nice combat and leather armor.

Also, if you get idolized with the NCR, they will give you the safe house key and there are a few sets of armor in there as well (you need to fix them though)

Crawl around in some caves and mines, go exploring...

I currently have Renforced Leather Armor and a Goggles Helmet on Veronica. So far , so good. For now.

I hear they have good armor in Quarry Junction. I highly recommend you visit there first.

Try the shop located in dead wind wind cavern, you can't enter the shop unless you leave all your weapons and armor outside though.

and where is this place and is it another area full of deathclaws or a legit shop ?

There's no fewer than 10 places to buy weapons/armor/stims from.

Gun Runners sells armor, the Gun Runners with the Robot. You know, only the best shop in the entire game for your fire power.

Also there is a bunch of combat armor in Vault 34, and that vault is one of only two that doesn't have any radiation in there. only mole rats as well, so you are safe to go through there to their armory. The vault is located just east of the NCR crop/farming field.

the problem with her is the damn hood you should get the sneaky suit from old world blues (it is in one of the facilities, it is solid white, looks decent but you have to o through a stealth test for it) and, if you dont mind her going bald, i think she will take the hood off for on of the halos in old world blues (notsure about it though). if she wont take her hood off you could always give her leather armour, it matches well, looks good and i think she will wear it

Also, buying stimpacks in this game should be banned. theres no reason in the world, to spend a single cap on these. they are very easy to aquire if you search a little.

No, the inside of the cave is empty but one-two deathclaws exist outside the cave. The cave contains the shop, you have to be naked without weapons or they wont serve you.

The Stealth Suit MK II is solid white? In my game it's black with white stripes...http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Stealth_suit_Mk_II, but yea, I agree, once fully upgraded it's the best armor in the game (in my opinion).

Veronica is currently wearing reinforced leather armor in my game and yea, the hood actually fits with that armor LOL

the fact that it is supposed to be a sneaky suit yet talks a the worst possible moment always makesme laugh well if she/it is not your style, you can get leather off of almost any wastland raider and reenforced leather is not that hard to come by, those look pretty good.

well not really solid white but it is the cleanest and whitest armour iv ever seen in fallout

id really liek to get more riotgear and anotehr fire fighter hat but i dont wnat to make enemies with NCR
