After the Dark Botherhood Quest line I believe in time the legion will be recalled from Skyrim weather the they won the civil war or not . I could see the Aldmeri Domiion being fought province by province like Hammerfell has done .
Kind have fantasical ideas of being Dragon born and going to morrowind and cyrodill to get them on my side and become emperor but I think I'd be dream in color to have Beth produce soemthing that epic lol

You made the same mistake I did at first; you assumed that the Dragonborn joining the Dark Brotherhood is cannon. However, the Dragonborn also has the option of wiping out the Dark Brotherhood, instead.
