I have to say, I just sit back and watch her take on 3 or 4 foes at a time. And these adversaries are some times 30 + in level. Sometimes over 40.

Okay then...

The guy who discovered the Wabbajack technique is a legend. I wabbajacked the only four companions I ever use, Aela, Marcurio, Aranea and Illia and they are in beast mode. Aela is with me and the rest are with the blades(Parthy still lives, plus I have no irrational hate for the blades like most people, I've realised their right, I just won't kill Parthy lol)

On-topic, your companions can be given a Dwarven bow at best I think, and they'll still use the best bows. I gave Aela enchanted Forsworn plus a heavily enchanted Forsworn bow which does 100 damage and she uses deadric and ebony bows. Her bow matches her outfit, she kills, problem solved.

I use Aela also. I have her in the Savior's hide with the rest being from the Old Gods. She was also wabbi jacked!

Thanks for the tip about the bow, I will give it a shot. Although, I tried giving Aela Froki's bow. She would never use it.

Don't followers level up along with the player now since the latest patch?

What patch? I am on PS3 and am stuck on patch 1.5.

Prior to Patch 1.6, that was. I'm on PS3 as well so I guess I don't have that yet either? svcks.

Is this really true? If it is, give her the better bow, as it should do much more damage, esp when smithed, than the +16 damage boost from Daedric Arrows.

Froki's Bow is a longbow, right? Followers will use longbow if given very high level arrows, but you would have most success with imperial bow and dwarven bow. I think you can make them use Elven bow as well, but only with very weak arrows.
