I just want increased color saturation :(

Post » Thu Jul 26, 2012 2:17 am

I've been toying around with lighting and ENB mods and I just can't find any that I like. Really all I want is more vibrant colors.

I tried a bunch of ENB mods. Cinematic ENB was just a bit too out there for me, as well as most others.

Skyrim Enhanced Shaders FX-ENB was really really good and I almost stuck with it, however, the way the lighting interacts with water (Makes it clearer and glow at night) and the way things look far off in the distance was just too much to get over. But I really liked the way the colors looked in the mod, they were perfect.

RCRN was close to working for me, but in the end I didn't like the really dark interiors (Even on legacy) and certain things seemed to shines too much, ESPECIALLY skin. Some scenes just looked way too odd with how much light reflected off of everything.

Project Temriel weather was also close to working out for me, but I didn't like how washed out some of the day scenes seemed. Walking though forested areas in the middle of the day just seemed so dull. Though it did make everything else fantastic.

I also tried realistic lighting with customization. Can't remember what issues I had with it though.

Really seeing how picky I am I would be happy if I could just get the colors to pop a little more without anything else. I really liked the colors in Skyrim Enhanced Shaders FX and was wondering if there was any mod or setting to get that increased color saturation by itself? Anyone have any ideas?

The http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/13049 might be just what you're looking for. You can choose to only increase saturation by whatever amount you want, and immediately see the effects!

Cool thanks for the input. Right after I posted this thread I looked at another thread and saw someone recommend that. I thought "hmmm that sounds like what I need, if someone recommends it in my thread I'm sold!"

And here it is haha. I'll try it as soon as I get home tonight

I am afraid I may not be of much practical help here, but I can direct you to a description of my own solution to the same issue in http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1376776-clothes-failure-and-other-things/page__view__findpost__p__20839992.

I am quite happy with it, but I guess it can be a bit "unique" and could perhaps be considered a curiosity. (Later in the same thread there are also some screenshot links.)

This anyday over enb.

I use it with ENB, I just use ENB for the shadows, godrays, and parallax mapping.

Ive tried a lot of enb's and simply cant find one which i like and never think the fps hit is worth it. In my game i really dont need enb, i only use imaginator and realistic lighting along with texture mods for my graphics.
