An overrated/hyped tween popstar is getting an award for being exactly that. It can't be for his music, he has one of the lowest record sales in while. (Only 60,000 copies sold.)

No that's it really. He's overhyped/rated (seriously turn on the radio, tune it to whichever channel shuffles in the newest hits and I guarantee his "Baby" song will play no less than 3 times within two hours.) and hearing about him constantly just aggravates people.

Thus far I haven't heard anything about Justin Bieber (except from this forum and the only thing I've really heard is more about how you all hate him and almost none of his music) and I haven't seen anything of Twilight (all I know is it's a movie about teenage vampires or something)

It's not difficult to ignore

I don't like his music either, its not my thing. Thing is I don't hate him with the intensity of a million suns. I have respect for Justin Bieber. Hes a nice guy. Tell me he isn't a nice cool guy after watching this:

He started out just as anybody on youtube putting up videos for his friends and family and gained huge success. While his music might be for pre-teen girls that doesn't mean hes not talented. He plays multiple instruments and started at like age 4 or something thats pretty good. The hate for him seems pretty unjustified.

Well, I'm in my 30s and I think I can safely say that when it comes to recreational drug use he's got a very long way to go on that score. Not sure about the six though :violin:

I'll say exactly what I said a month back in a similar thread about this little plague on humanity.

I can't wait for the day, while I'm walking through a checkout line in a grocery store, when I look over at some celeb magazine and see the front page article on Justin Biebers' unwed pregnancy, drug abuse addiction, alcohol abuse, domestic violence charges, and apparent case of HIV/AIDS.

Truly, it will be a day when all of us on the BSF Forums can smile and breath a sigh of relief.

Well if not jealousy how else would you describe your post above? No, it's not mere annoyance, annoyed people don't want whatever annoys them "to be brought to the top of Sears Tower, skinned alive and given a bath in salt water, lemon juice, and rubbing alcohol, then lit on fire and thrown from the building" and don't write all caps words nearly 20 letters long and composed only of letters 'a', 'g' and 'h' followed by three exclamation marks.

To be honest it doesn't even sound like jealousy, it sounds like something you should get checked by a psychiatrist.
