Jyggalag and sheo?

Post » Sat Jun 16, 2012 3:43 am

Is sheo the champion from oblivion?

And also, is Jyggalag and the 'original' sheogorath the same prince?
I've read the lore that the other deadric princes grew jealous of jyggalag's power, and cursed him to be what he hated the most, an aspect of madness - Sheogorath.

So, would this mean that sheogorath was created by the other princes?

jygglag was sheogorath but after the events of the isles the campion mantled sheogorath (became him) and jygglag was set adrift in the "darkness" (A.K.A. the waters of oblivion) that deadra go to when beaten (there thy remake their mortal form but im not sure of the process for a prince, only lesser deadra)

Jygglag is sheogorath.
Not anymore. In SI, you release Jyggalag from the curse, allowing him to stay in his true form, and YOU become sheogorath. Thus they are now 2 independant beings.

As far as can be told, no one has replaced you, who is now sheogorath, so 200 years later, it is assumed that Sheogorath is the CoC.

Which isnt a bad thing seeing how sheo isnt evil or good, alot of people get caught up on the insanity aspect and forget that the creativity aspect is equally strong.

But ya coc is sheo.

Don't forget the Theory that maybe the CoC created the whole scenario due to the insanity of entering the Isles, and it was all a big prank from Sheo.

geez that is so boring, Any way coc mantled sheo solely. Arden sul mantled the aka/shor split which is what i think made the curse /conspirisy theory

http://www.imperial-library.info/content/arden-sul on the break down of the whole Champion of Cyrodiil, Sheogorath, and Jyggalag deal. It takes information from the game and digests it for you all to see what is very likely the outcome of Shivering Ilse.

Also, Sheogorath did hint he was indeed the Champion of Cyrodiil when you do his quest in Skyrim.

I have, its just I wasn't sure if sheogorath was jyggalag's Alter ego, or if Jyggalag was forced to live as sheo. If that made sense -_-

no no no you are all wrong

the events in the shivering isles were actually a huge joke pulled on the CoC,

the CoC is now sitting on the throne thinking hes big-time while sheogorath is laughing his ass off elsewhere in the madhouse

the isles are just a small pocket realm in the whole of sheogorath's domain

He actually mentions the Oblivion Crisis when talking to the PC. He said "he was there for the whole thing".

My CoC never played SI. And if I were to play SI, I wouldn't use the CoC.

No one will be able to tell, because the SI hero grew a goatee and adopted a Scottish accent just like Sheo until they were the same person again.

what it boils down to is

The CoC is sheo
Your CoC may or not be Sheo

Lore CoC became Sheo but the llayers personalized charector may or may not have been.

Another reason is because he is blinded, and this might reference Sheogoraths threat to pluck your eyes out in the SI?
