" The fangs that were noticeable on both Kahjiit and Argonian Vampires are now gone."


However my Kahjiit vamp still has its fangs, so whats up with that? Is my Kahjiit just glitched/bugged or is that info on the wiki just misinformation?

I'm not sure but why would you trust TES Wikia in the first place? It's not known for its accuracy(or rather, known for the inaccuracies).

It's not just the TES wikia, ive seen another poster here say the same thing about the fangs being removed for the beast races, so i was just wondering.

People complained about them..and now that they are fixed they have stopped whining but the people who liked them have come out to complain about the change..

Yes i did, my Kahjiit got vampirism before dawnguard, however even though i have played her on dawnguard she still has her fangs. And she isn't a vampire lord.

That info is inaccurate. I play Argonian and I've still got mine.

Has anyone tried to see what happens if you infect a fresh Argonian or Khajiit character with vampirism with Dawnguard installed? That might prove whether or not this is true. Also, I have gotten the impression that the removal of beast race fangs may have been true only for the beta, since it was mostly earlier in the week when the "no moar fangs " rumor was circulating around.

Yeah, my khajiit was black. I had to cure my vampirism to change my cheeks white at the face changer in the Ragged Flagon, then have Serana turn me back. Such a hassle.

Probably just some idiot that read something somewhere, that doesn't even have Dawnguard yet some reason feeling the need to spread his new-found second hand knowledge that he has no way to measure if it has any merit(which is doesn't)

Yeah, like some comments earlier in the week. As I matter of fact, I don't even know if half the people going around complaining that they don't have fangs as a vampire anymore really know what they are talking about. Every day that comes by, the less likely it seems that these no fangs rumors are true. If someone wants to prove that vampires of a specific race no longer have fangs, the least the person could do is take a picture of that, instead of generating chaos on the forums. More than likely, if fangs are not appearing on your character for whatever reason, it is most likely a bug at this point in time, and should probably be reported in the appropriate places so that it can be patched by Bethesda. Oh yes, and keep in mind that in vanilla, female elves and female humans did not get fangs as a vampire. Not certain if they fixed this with Dawnguard, though.

No Fangs as in no-fangs-even-in-combat? Or No fangs as in you-can't-see-your-fangs-all-the-time-only-when-you're-in-combat-and-you-do-your-battle-face-scrunch

For vanilla female non-beast vampires, you mean? No fangs at all for those characters. I checked that out personally using the CK. Babette has fangs, though, but she belongs to the Breton Child Vampire race.

I've been cured of vampirism numerous times for the Face Changer and every time I've re infected myself I've had Khajiit fangs. If anyone here has an account on the wiki they should probably go and take that part out, it's just added BS.

I think I've also gotten to as close of a confirmation that the beast race vampires do not lose their fangs in Dawnguard. I did this by creating a test mod that adds the fangs to all Khajiit, and then started a new character. The new character had the fangs as expected. Then after a save for the character was created, I exited the game and disabled the mod, and then reloaded. Boom, no fangs, and then reloading the save after re-enabling the mod brought them back. When activated, this mod also gave one of my real Khajiit characters fangs as well. Though for some reason it wasn't giving NPCs fangs.

So therefore, there is no way that Dawnguard removes the special fangs for the beast races at all, since the fangs do not bake into save files from what I've been able to tell.
