Keeping an in-character journal

Post » Wed May 09, 2012 9:18 pm

So, I was thinking of writing an in-character reports of my adventures in Skyrim, but I'm still not sure if I should do it.

Forumites, fellow roleplayers, I ask you: are there any of you who keep a journal for their character? How much does it add to the roleplaying experience? Do you think it's worth it? Are there any ways of spicing it up beyond "Dear diary, today I went here and did this"? Please discuss.

I did an IC journal on Morrowind with a few characters thanks to the mod that actually allowed you to do so. It was more convenient than trying to recall everything and writing about it later.

But no, I won't be doing this quite yet. I haven't played enough.
