Hey guys,

Having some problems with keyboard in Skyrim. For some reason i cannot use my keyboard in Skyrim? I tried both a wired keyboard and a wireless keyboard both are not working. My wireless mouse works non the less though.
Running in windows 7, game starts just fine except the keyboard. Tried looking for a config file in Skyrim haven't found one yet. Except the prefs.ini file, tried messing with the gamepad things. Didn't work.

Any idea guys? I am desperate to play this game.. it looks beautiful

Do you have a gamepad? I'm guessing you do. Simply unplug the gamepad and the game will allow you to use your keyboard again. An identical problem like this also exists in Metro 2033. All in all it's a bit of lazy programming.

Hmm i do not have a game pad connected. Thanks for your help though! Any other ideas?

Sorry don't have any more ideas. If I do discover anything I'll post again. I hope someone more knowledgable than me comes across your post. Good luck in finding a solution.

Anyone else with possible solutions? I am dying to play this game.
