Doesn't mean they can't pursue magic. I like J'Zargo.

Also, just curious, but...

If a game were to take place in Elsweyr, would you guys be open to having one or two of the quadruped subspecies being playable?

Ehh what about us Argonians, we too have no armor, the vampires lords still have vanilla features, i see more Khajits than i do Argonians. I think we should team up and smash Bethesda in the head untill they give the beast races some love.

I like to think that they're less "Enemies" and more "Rivals". :3

I would like to see some noble or heroic Kha'jiit NPCs, like Isran or Kodlak. That would be something.

We need a DLC Khajiit focused. I'd like to see Khajiit armor!

We won't get this because the story takes place in the land of Skyrim. Hopefully the next TES will take place in Elsweyr or Summerset Isles..anywhere that khajiit would be more abundant

Don't see the conflict here. They were talking about TES VI being in Black Marsh or Elsweyr. The next DLC could still be focused on the Akaviri. That way, both parties would be happy.

khajit thanks you.

on another note...I think beth hates khajit. I mean barely any khajit npcs, none that can be married,no unarmed skill tree, didnt get the facial vampire upgrade, some glitches in dawnguard that turn khajit into an imperial with a cat face. I honestly dont think beth will be doing anything with them in skyrims future.

I don't think they hate Khajiit. It's just unrealistic (at least in a TES universe) for a race that lives in a desert would want to move in to the ice cold lands of Skyrim. Sure the marriage option thing is a little lame, but Bosmer have that problem too!

Even the caravan Khajiit complain about Skyrim and are only there for the trade opportunity.

If its released in next gen consoles might be both, seance the two lands seem smaller then Skyrim, and Cyrodil.

No we don't get the vampire upgrade in the looks department unfortunately.

Not sure what game you are playing but my Vampire Lord Khajiit has massive fangs protruding from his mouth. Much more sinister than glowing eyes.

WHAT? ;D That sounds awesome. xD Kinda like the Khajiit from Arena.

Anyway, I don't believe Beth hates Khajiit. There aren't "barely any Khajiit npc's". There are two great followers, J'Zargo and Kharjo. There are the trading caravans, there are the Khajiit working for the Thalmor (one in Riften, one outside Windhelm and one inside the Embassy). Sure there aren't a whole lot, but it would be unrealistic if there were. I mean, Elseweyr is on the other side of Tamriel and between the cold and racist Nords I don't blame the Khajiit for staying the hell away from Skyrim. Don't get me wrong, they're one of my favorite races (used to be the favorite but the Snow Elves took their spot, sorry Khajiit) and I do believe they deserve more attention, but any major assembly of Khajiit in Skyrim is a little unrealistic. They should have added a few to the Thieves Guild though. I mean, the College has a Khajiit but the Guild doesn't? =/

I do have good hopes a (possible) Thalmor DLC will bring us some more cats though. Elseweyr is part of the Aldmeri Dominion, after all.

Definitely. But it might be awkward if your spouse then decides to use you as a mount in front of Khajiit's friends...

I'm not saying Bethesda's racist but they did have the most khajiit/argonian characters of any game, in Morrowind as slaves. :whistling:

Although speaking of Khajiit...

Why didn't they give M'aiq the Liar anything new to say? D:

I mean, at least something like
"M'aiq heard that Vampires roam Skyrim freely. How is this possible? M'aiq thought hungry vampires were hated and feared."
Since it still says "as a blood-starved vampire, you are hated and feared", even though... well, you're not.

I would love to see what storyline they could come up with for Elswyr,I'd also like to see how they make it look, there's enough information from Skyrim's merchants and books to get a rough sketch of what Elswyr's landscape is like. The Akavir would be a good plot for the next DLC but judging by the name 'Hearthfire',it is likely to involve the Psijics but that's a different topic.

Could deel with the Khajiit leaving the Aldermi Domminion? Akavir seems pretty big, so unless they make that DLC bigger then Skyrim then I want it in a full game.

There are some modders attempting to make a mod to allow Khajiit marriage, but because of their accents nobody but Bethesda can make something that sounds Khajiit, that or the mod features human sounding characters (or some messed up Khajiit-attempt accent). If only my character can have a wife that is the same species as him (he wants kids)
Not true. One of the voice overs for the mod "Interesting NPCs" has managed to imitate the male Khajiit voice almost perfectly. I'm pretty sure that the Khajiit accent is just a Spanish accent or an imitation of one or another similar accent. The real big problem however is that I don't believe there is any way to add new marriage-related dialogue without making edits to the marriage-related quests, which would in turn make the mod incompatible with anything else that edits vanilla marriage quests directly. This is why I think Khajiit marriage options should be added in officially in a patch or future DLC for Skyrim.

Or you could add in a new look alike marriage option for Khajiit, using a different idea but the same topic name in the GUI. Just copy and paste the scripting from the old dialogue.

Exactly, I will then skin them and make a carpet out of them like how they tease me and show them how they like it!

*Pokes my Nord head up* Hello :o

*hugs*

I love the Nords, but I wish there were more Khajit, I like listening to them talk because I love their voices it's like six in my Nordish ear

Yeah, the skin of a flayed Khajiit would make on nice fur armor for my Nord.

I agree, we should see more Khajiits...

It was strange that there were no Khajits anywhere in the DLC, but maybe the Vampires and Dawnguard are racist towards the beast races?

I typically hate playing as a khajit, but I would play as one if a full game took place in Elsweyr as I tend to pick the race that fits with the country (Dark Elf in TES3, Imperial in TES4, and Nord in TES5), but it would be hard to market a game where depictions of the player character would be a Khajit. I would still buy it and probably love the game, but again it would be hard to market as many people are against the beast races.
