So I was looking up Elder Scrolls Online, in eager anticipation, and wondering what kind of characters I would roll in this game. I got a bit carried away, and ended up many(many!) tabs deep on the elder scrolls wiki; delving once more into Tamriel lore to help me decide. And so when I was reading about the Khajiit I found that the birth of different sub species (of which there are 17-20 apparently) is determined by the phases of the moons Masser and Secunda.


So bearing in mind, that it would seem kind of ridiculous(from a perspective of creating realism) if all the pc Khajiit in the world happened to all be of the same sub species. I wonder if there would some possibility of a choice at character creation, or that you are able to customize your characters appearance enough to make that kind of racial distinction. Although the supposed variance in appearance between the sub species is quite marked, so that might not be feasible.

It would be really cool if you could choose between sub species, even if it didn't do anything(in fact maybe especially if it was like that) It would really add a feeling of diversity and scope I feel. Any one else feel like would be good?
