The Ka Po Tun are related to the khajiit and the Ka Po Tun is related to dragon race since they are both akavari, so does this mean the khajiit are related to the dragon race.

You're related to two sets of Grandparents.
Does that mean your Grandparents are related?
... let's hope not.
Uh just because they are cat-folks doesn't mean they are related to the Khajiits...
Well anyways they may not be related to the dragon race but it does make them part akavari.
I don't know if the Khajiit and Ka Po Tun are related other than being a feline like race, the only connection I know of between the dragons is that as you said they are from Akavir, that and Tosh Raka apparently turning himself into a dragon.
Read the uesp about the Ka Po Tun it says that it is possible that they are related.
You lost me here. Am I related to my neighbour because we're both Polish?
You're actually kind of on to something - I had similar thoughts a little while ago...
If I remember correctly, no one is exactly sure of the Khajiit's relation to the Ka Po' Tun - beyond their undeniably similar appearances.
I like to think that the Khajiit originated from them, but it's hard to be certain (although the races of Akavir have been visiting Tamriel for quite some time - not constantly of course).
That being said, the Ka Po' Tun are one of the even more mysterious races of Akavir.
Either way, I like that it provides (to me at least) somewhat more solid justification for a Khajiit dragonborn (not that there technically needed to be further justification beyond being chosen by Akatosh, but nevertheless).
There is no footnote or reference of the Ka Po Tun being possibly being related to the Khajiit from the source of the article, the book "Mysterious Akavir"
"It is unknown to what extent they are similar or related to the Khajiit."
I did make a topic related to this in the lore forums. It might be possible that the Khajiits will likely see Tosh Raka as some form of Alkosh should he actually come to Tamriel and if the stories about him are true.
Yes so that means there is a chance the khajiit at part akavir.
I just did more research and it says that alkosh's parents were khajiits and as we know alkosh is akatosh, and it also says akatosh is the dragon king of cats so that means the khajiits are related to akatosh and akatosh is a dragon meaning the khajiits are related to a dragon.
your really drawing on straws here...
assuming Khajiit and the Ka Po`tun are related in some matter (which has no proof other then the fact they are both a feline race), that does not mean they are related to Dragons...
not all the races in Akavir are related to Dragons...
No, it means that it is unknown. No statement is being made that there is any likelyhood as there is no evidence on which to base it.
Yeah the Khajiits are dragons and the Bosmer are actually ogres in disguise.
I am just saying there is a possibility that khajiits are akavir
*facepalm*
does not work that way...
Alkosh is not quite Akatosh, just like Akatosh is not quite Auri-El

The whole article uses this book as a reference and there is absolutely nothing in the book that says anything about Khajiits.
hmm... that may actually have some small truth to it... with the Wild Hunt and all....
I didn't say the khajiits are dragons I said that they are RELATED to the dragons meaning they have a blood of a dragon. (And a divine due to akatosh being a dragon and a divine)
