I've been trying and failing miserably to create a mod that makes Khajiit turn into a a WereSabrecat instead of a Werewolf. I want to leave everything the same, but instead of the werewolf skin/textures I want those of a Sabre cat to take its place.

Trying to wrap my head around the basics of how to do this or even comprehend the mapping of objects, to races, to powers to abilities in the creation kit blows my mind. I've spent about 3 days of trial and error and of google searching and watching tutorial after tutorial. I'm fairly certain i could build my own dungeon or house now, but anything having to do with scripting, powers, spell effects, dialogue, or any other aspect and I'm screwed. Frankly I just don't know what i'm doing.

Any help / direction or is someone is already working on something like this please let me know. Thanks.
