Khajiit Wife.

Post » Fri Jun 15, 2012 8:11 pm

I noticed that there are absolutely NO Khajiit male or females that are available for marriage. I think it'd make sense for Bethesda to have at least one or two in the upcoming DLC or just a "quick" DLC for more wives/husbands. This one finds Skyrim becomes a very lonely place fast. Every other race has a few options to choose from..though I wouldn't look twice at a Dark Elf woman.

I don't think that adding khajiit men or woman to the marriageable list is ever going to happen because quite frankly it's not at the top of the priority list and it never will be so... looks like you're gonna have to go make sticky with a nice masculine female orc instead. :bunny:

Skyrim doesn't promote beastiality and never will.

Considering YOU can be a khajiit and marry another race...that argument is invalid.

Well..they added Lydia to the marriageable list. So no point in lowering this one's hope.

Nonsense--there are two Argonians available for marriage according to the Skyrim Wiki. Besides, I think the op was asking for a mate for his or her Khajiit. Khajiit on Khajiit would hardly qualify as beastiality. If you are lucky enough to be on pc, you can marry whoever you want--plenty of mods for that.

Beastiality?

Beast races are not animals, not like people are asking to marry a horker. >.<

sorry to rain on your parade, but they did that because she was meant to be a marriage candidate on release, but the devs accidentally messed that up.

Well no, it is still bestiality, but we only associate bestiality as taboo because the animal lacks the ability to consent. Khajiit and Argonians have sentience and can agree to any Union, thus it loses the reason why it's taboo. There should definitely be options to Mary Kajite, but it's an easy fix. Just assign the NPC of your choice to the right faction and ask them to marry you.

Call it what you will.

Though even with console commands on PC, you stall cannot marry a Khajiit from my experience. They lack the right dialogue options to make them spouses, you also can't make a female khajiit a follower. I assume for the same reasons.

you can copy-paste and then rename another actor's voice files.

I see, though I think I'd rather wait and deal with no Khajiit spouses than have one who sounds like a Nord.

If you've read The Real Barenzia there is some mention of Barenzia pairing up with a khajiit. Of course, he was later impaled on a spike. Maybe Bethesda is trying to tell us something?

Incorrect for multiple reasons. It is not taboo due to lack of consent but for sociological reasons, as it is legal in some countries (not that I agree with it, but it helps prove the point). Second, while Khajiit and Argonians resemble animals, they are not the biological equivalent. By this logic, it would be bestiality to bump uglies with a human because they're anthropomorphized apes. Since Khajiit and Argonians are "humanoid" in shape and mindset, they are humanoid by definition. Finally, using the console isn't a viable fix for those who only have console copies and those that do have it on PC have to deal with the lack of marriage dialogue.

I thought it was Bethesda's commitment to not really care about race or six. I think the main issue here is that there's really just no Khajiit in Skyrim outside of the caravaneers.

There's no Bosmer spouses available either. It's just a saturation issue.

Probably because you'd have to think of "creative" ways to get the taste of Khajiit cooking out of your mouth. :P

Yeah, it's lame that some races were left out. My Bosmer would've liked another Bosmer to marry or some more Altmer than just the one in Solitude.

I was wondering about that too, my first character was a cat man, and ... Well, I never bothered with part of the game yet. But good to know there are no catfish in the sea.

A Khajiit or Argonian character can marry a human, why is that so different?

I agree that there should be Khajiit potential partners, even if it means finding a trading caravan to get one.
