kidnappings : V

ive been hearing that you will have to defend ur family from kidnappers and such, i wonder if they actually get kidnapped and you have to go on a quest to resue them?? just thoughts i know noone will know ..wont be long now

I would be annoyed, to say the least. My god-blessed steward is supposed to defend my family while I'm away. If he/she fails, he/she is no longer employed...as in dead.

I think your family can get kidnapped because if you had a spouse i believe they get

maybe they expanded on this to your family and turn it into a unmarked quest to rescue them.

Since they brought all the kidnapping into skyrim with Dawnguard, yeah i highly think this will happen with your kids/housecarls etc aswel.

It would be cool.

However, there's the sticky issue of whether your kids can actually be in danger. But it is theoretically possible, AS LONG AS they DON'T die on screen. Showing dead kids might cause an AO rating, but merely mentioning them might not.

I personally don't like the idea about kidnappings, then you can run around everyday and rescue your family.. but it does add dephs to the game and a bit realism, so its good enough.

If you're not the adventury type, you could pay the ransom instead, maybe.

Then send the Dark Brotherhood after the kidnappers.

The people i have to save were always random. Never my wife. One time it was Vilkas and it gave me love dialogue. Me and my character like ladies.

That's a bit harsh don't you think? One steward can only defend against so many, after all they are not the warrior you are!

There is a 99% chance that it is not the case. Knowing Bethesda at most you will see random monster spawning at your farm/house. Do not expect a lot of excitement with things attacking your family.
