I hope they add the page split (If memory serves, the software used does support that feature). Also, I'm viewing this via my iPhone and it's a pain going through all those posts, hopefully mobile phone browsers will be supported.

Hi guys,

We're still aware of the issues and myself and Lee continue to raise them internally to get some clarity on the situation, unfortunately there isn't much point in us posting "no news this week guys" repeatedly in the forums which is why you haven't had any responses on the topic since the re-launch.

That said, we're optimistic about having some news for you on the situation soon.
That would be the message from over three weeks ago. -.-

Any update or still the same **** we've been hearing for over a year? It really is quite pathetic.

What if they are working on an answer but are actually kinda busy with Crysis 2 and gamesas upgrades? The new game and website will take priority over legacy support in their/their boss's eyes, so they'll be spending more time on that and looking at this when they've got a moment to do so.

And that can be the excuse until Crysis 2 comes out and then the questions we have will not even matter anymore. So in light of that, its pretty safe to say that we will not ever be getting an answer to any of the questions and most of the "answers" will be shelling out $50 for Crysis 2 anyway.

I think we can all stop beating the dead horse now, Crysis Wars is dead and Crytek doesnt care anymore.
As and when we have an update on this you will be told, we apologize for the time it is taking us to get you guys an answer.
I remain confident in the value of this statemant,

Clearly as has been pointed out frequently, there is so much going on behind the scenes, its gotta be pretty damm hard to fit it all in, but as Cry-Tom states.

"We're still aware of the issues and myself and Lee continue to raise them internally to get some clarity on the situation,"

At least they take it seriously and do thier part, who knows maybe they can move things for us all with thier continued effort, so despite the time elapsed I still have a little faith. :D

And you know what? In a couple months our questions wont even matter, or be worth a ****. The answers have been a work in progress for over a year, with many fights between the community and staff, there never will be an answer to the community, because as soon as the Crysis 2 Beta hits, nobody is going to care about Crysis Wars.

The Crytek Staff might be trying, but it honestly doesnt matter anymore. The beta will be hitting in a couple months and all we can do is wait. Its not like Crysis Wars would be getting another patch anyway, all the fixes will be in the next installment of the series, just like the "answer" to Crysis bugs was shelling out $30 for Crysis Wars. o.0

Of course these answers should have come about 11 - 12 months ago when we MIGHT have gotten a 1.6 patch, but at this point it makes no sense to get any answers now.

So in light of that, i will back off. Hopefully our reports will be fixed in the upcoming beta, thats all i ask.

If the cycle continues in Crysis 2, i wont be buying Crysis 3.

Far Cry had support for over 2 years! 2 whole years! http://www.ubi.com/us/downloads/info.aspx?dlid=691

Crysis got support for what? 4 months? That is absolutely pathetic. And Crysis Wars is just a $30 patch that got support for 8 months.

Compared to Far Cry, both of these titles seem like an absolute joke of support. The same thing happens with Crysis 2, and i am jumping the sinking ship.

I think it's a little too late now to brag about Crysis Wars.

Either way, just look ahead. We've got something new coming out. And I guess the staff are more focused on that rather than something which is kinda old now.

I don't know who you could blame at this point, the community managers, or the people who were meant to fix it. In some ways, there's a reason why they never put support on these games, perhaps someone higher made the decision. Who knows.

Right now, I want them to work on Crysis 2, not something that's an expansion.

Let's see if you're gonna say the same thing, if the support for Crysis 2 is dropped after 4/8 months... I'm not saying this is going to happen, but the two past games show that their support really isn't that longliving. This does make me a bit worried...

It does to me as well.

But really, what can I do? What can we do? We can only hope this isn't the case.

So really, I just want to make sure Crytek are focused on Crysis 2. They have more people working on this game now. They now have a dedicated group of people working on the MP side of the game.

So really, I don't know what to feel as much. Worried is what I feel like, I do, but I think there's nothing I can do at this point.

I think it might have had something to do with sales of Far Cry. Far Cry had over 3.5 million copies sold, so i guess Crytek was more inclined to support it. Crysis sold just over 1 million copies, and Crytek was very quick to blame piracy and move on to Warhead, which pretty much sold even less.

Seriously though, Crysis 2 better have good support. With the extra cash and lower production costs with the CryEngine 3, Crytek has no budgeting excuses to not support their games anymore.
