I was a bit disappointed when The Skaal didn't automatically know I was a werewolf.

I mean..in Bloodmoon they instantly knew you were infected/one of them.

Maybe they saw you get bitten when the werewolves attacked Thirsk mead hall.

If I recall he (I forget his name so I'll just use the generic "he") said he sensed you were infected, he didn't say he saw it. =P

If you recall? No offense but it's my experience that people's recollections on here are a bit iffy.

Thats because they neither payed attention nor cared as much as during Bloodmoon where they were practically at war with Hircine and his minions.

I think they don't really care during Dragonborn. With what Hermaeus Mora and Miraak are doing, I think they realize that they've got bigger issues than whether or not your character has a furry fetish.
