The lag I have seems to be very bad when I go to any menu such as switching items, buying items, and when starting a conversation. There is no lag everywhere else, in all cities, towns, and when multiple NPCs are around. This is really weird It is really annoying when using the favorites menu. I thought the lag was when in cities and when multiple NPCs are around., is it a menu problem also.

Of course we all have lag in menus... moving to saves is even longer since 1.4. Normally I wouldn't care about this type of lag however this game is fairly menu heavy.

I was thinking... Snowwolf... look in the options, there is a setting having to due with saves when in menu modes.. that might help you... at least there is on PS3.

Yes, menu lag is bad. Worse than MOrrowind XBOX

Menu lag is the only lag I still experience. Autosave in menu is a nightmare.

I also still have to repeat keypress in order to trigger stuff in menus.

Seriously about to just give up on this pos. This game is by far the dumbest of the fewTES* series and the gameplay is seriously hindered by the ui - and now that's even lagging!

*edit for stupid smart keyboard that doesnt have TES in its dictionary..

WHen I played on ps3 I found that even when the game kind of ran ok that menus would lag a little. Sometimes activating the menu would also not initiate. So for exampe if and arrow was heading for my face and I wanted to press circle to drink a potion it might not work and Id eat an arrow. I also wouldnt want to the button twice because i may enter and exti the menu. I did also find that approaching objects and pressin hrte button often werent enough. Id have to press x a few times sometimes.

If it makes you feel any bette Im having a situation on xbox where evne tho Im done the civil war sometimes the gme will spawn imperial soldiers to fight with me. Today i was just minding my own business and an imperial solder went running for the edge of a cliff. He pulled his weapon out and yelled and ran right off and died! I watched him and his sword roll all the wya down the hill . No one there....just me and him.
