I live in France and I recently preordered Crysis 2 LE on Game.co.uk (located in UK).
I'd like to know wether the game language will be english only or switchable to French ?

Crysis 1 and Warhead supported a variety of languages, from English, German, French, Spanish (iirc?), etc. Its likely that Crysis 2 will support the same, if not more.

I have the same problem... I want to preorder in Gamehubs or Zavvi... but I don′t know if It'll be only in English or also in Spanish, French, etc.

I don't know the reason why those stores can't know it!!!!! It's awful. I want to pre-order, something that is good for the store, for Crytek... but I can't because I don't know the languages... crazy...

I pre-ordered C2 in austria now and hope that besides german i can also play it in english. However, they couldnt tell me there if there was an option to play it in english either....I also called EA...not even they could give me an answer to that. Definetly needs a fix.

The game must be gold on pc and consoles now. Could we have an answer from Crytek please ?

I wrote an E-Mail to EA support, but even though they want to answer questions within 24 hours, they haven't done so far.

Please Crytek, an answer to this would be much appreciated. I will have to withhold my preorder until I can get some answers about this.

I had looked up what kind of languages are provided in the download version (you can find that on the EA store page, it's english, french, german, spanish and italian). I managed to get into customer live chat, where they replied to me asking, if all those languages were also in the boxed version with:
Support: Yes
Support: all the languages will be available in DVD game also.

Thats at least as far as europe goes, not sure how it is elsewhere.

Edit : now the 360 version is leaked, we know for sure it contains the english track beside the other(s) one(s).

I would like to know what languages does the Pal UK 'Crysis 2' version for xbox 360 supports too.

My preorder depends in knowing if the game includes audio and/or subtitles in spanish.

Hope some staff member can solve our questions soon.

Well, it's an incredibly stupid situation. We aren′t preordering or buying a game because they don't tell us what languages the PAL UK version has. Can they be so stupid to not say it and lost sales...? I don't like waiting...

For all those with the PC version: in europe it is a multi5 version. English, french, spanish, german, turkish audio and text are available. For those who want to play in english, even though it is not thier native tongue, go to Crysis 2 main folder, open system cfg file with notepad and switch under g_language = "installed language" to english. Close file, say yes to save, enjoy!
