Last minute decision: 360 or PC

Post » Wed May 09, 2012 12:02 pm

AMD Athlon 64 x2 Dual core 6000+
Radeon 6670
4 GB RAM
24" monitor

vs

360 with 42" HDTV

I know this has been done to death but it's almost here and I'm still unsure of the PC specs and I just want some opinions if you don't mind.

The lowest possible settings for the PC version = the 360/PS3 version.

I'd get the PC version personally.

360 this coming from a PC Gamer...

Or PC version with a 360 Controller... Eww.

Game is a pretty straight forward console port... If you enjoy using Keyboard and Mouse you'll probably be disappointed.

Just my opinion...

Don't neglect the controllers use in a game like this, but squeezing extra prettiness for a game you'll stare at for hours isn't a bad idea..PC w/ controller (like me) best, but....i'd choose PC for the smoother experience (and mods...seriously).

Wow... Do you have actual stats to back that up? Cause that seems rather PC elitish.

You can't hook your PC to your 42" tv? My rig is hooked up to my 46" HDTV.

I know, I'm just finding it a bit fun to guess where you'll pop up next.

I don't have anything against you, if that's what you're thinking. Just because we don't agree about a video game doesn't mean I hate you.

yeah but if he gets it on 360 he will bar himself from every playing mods which is insane when talking about a TES game

I've been playing it all day on my computer.. My specs aren't a question Skyrim can't even make my comp flinch.. But if your comp can handle it.. Why would you even think of missing out on all the awesome stuff the pc can offer that xbox will never be able to?

Well, the developers said you can't make the PC version look worse than the console versions. Which means the PC version, even at the lowest settings, is at least equal to the console versions.

From what we've seen of screenshots that show the different graphics levels: The consoles are probably just above medium and below high on the PC.

Whatever you desire.

But we won't be doing these sorts of threads here because they cause fights and I don't like fights.

Unless I'm the winner.
