Yes, but did you play for a couple of hours with the same pllayers, or were they different every match. The point being made is that many of the games are totally empty. I, for example, have never been able to get anyone into TIA fast match. Have you?

No problems what so ever getting into IA/TIA/CS. Not even trouble finding games for fast rounds TIA, and i very rarely see any player that i remember from earlier so i think i meet new players all the time...
The other modes are a bit longer wait though but i rarely play them anyway.

Well I agreed with the OP, and still do. Whether it's a fault in the game or PSN something is stopping several of us from getting games. I certainly play against the same people the same time everyday, and I've never managed a quick match.

I don't consider this to be trolling, there's no anger being expressed or dissing of anyone. It's just obvioulsy something that needs to be looked at. And you can bet for everyone who uses these forums there are 4 or 5 people that don't.

Agree with Dear above.

How does this come off as trolling? The OP is sharing their experience. Might not be directly related to Crytek, but its still his own personal experience.

Maybe before I trade it, I'll try a few games, and see if this is the same for me.

If anyone thinks this game is alive and well needs to wake up and smell the coffee. VGChartz posted an article about Crysis 2, saying that there was only about 500 players playing on Steam (as they wrote it) and that it wasn't in the top 20 games played on Xbox Live according to Major Nelson's blog.

PSN numbers are unavailable but let me tell you, its on life support. And the finger of blame deserves to be pointed towards Crytek.

Crysis 2 blows. Crysis and Crysis was brilliant, the multiplayer wasn't groundbreaking, but it was unique and fun. Crysis 2 is just a big turd.

I find plenty of games and and im on 24/7. just because some of you have some beef against crytek. and also alot of you are regurgitating the same S h i t. so calm down play the game and enjoy it and stop ruining it for others. have you thought of this mabey, what if we looked past some of the obvious flaws and started talking about the positive things, like the game is great and online is very fun and the visuals are amazing in single player. then mabey more people would be online playing.

Ok seriously can you guys who hate the game (and most likely EVERYTHING) just go away? It's getting annoying. You are on a Crysis 2 forum, some constructive criticism is one thing, but you guys lead me to think that you have nothing better to do then incessantly complain and throw 12 year old style hissy fits. You know what I do when I don't like a game? I play something else and get on with my life.

Oh dear... I'll assume that post was a global statement.

Seems people still just don't get it. Why are you assuming people hate the game? Theirs clearly flaws that stand out a lot more to some players, so they come here and voice that. That is partly what forums are for. If it breaks rules, and has vulgarity, believe me Adams would lock this/delete posts instantly. The OP is talking about communication, will you stand there and say Crytek are engaging with users on their board? They have close to 10 staff accounts here. I see no reason why they can't be more alive on forums.

Hissy fits? He made a brief powerful point regarding communication. He didnt attack anyone. The only time when this topic became downhill was when page 2 began. Turning this topic in a fight between those enjoying it, and those who wish to try and improve it/get some issues fixed. If you don't like the topic being discussed, feel free to not post. No one has a gun to your head making you post. If you love the game, and is having fun, fantastic. Go enjoy it. If you'll say these topics dominate the pages, subcribe to the topics you like, and you'll get notified of a post, and then you can only be in topics you want to be in.

Rather than ditching it, and not giving feedback (like you'd do) people have come here, and given advice on how Crytek can handle things better. Know the result?

http://www.gamesas.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=40&t=28490 patch previews are being posted now.

Thanks for the feedback so far guys!

We're rolling out another live update shortly and look forward to hearing your feedback on the further changes.

Will create a new thread once the update goes live in order to keep all the data relevant :)

Cheers!

Network updates are being produced now.

Yes global statement, not at you. But creating a topic called "last one out........" adds nothing to the forum. It seems like people are hell bent on ruining it for everyone, as if God descended from the clouds and told them it was now their lifes mission to tell the world of the atrocities commited by Crytek. It's plenty fun for me, can you just let me enjoy it?

What a contribution to the community this post was, not to mention his username suggests to me his idea of a good game is Blops so don't take it too seriously I guess. :)

Several of these people who are just biching and cursing are 12-15 year olds (verified through username search) who really shouldn't even be playing the game anyway. I think it's a good idea to make a list of the issues we are having so the game constantly improves, and with the mod tools coming out this game has tremendous potential.

Like I mentioned, the topic went downhill at Page 2.

I also struggle to find matches, if i do it always takes long and i am always red or orange barring and hearing American accents over the players mic's (i live in Australia). This just tells me that there arent enough players to make a local only lobby.
