Last time I buy a Bethesda game

Post » Tue May 08, 2012 11:05 pm

Why?

Because Bethesda said:
"Will I be able to play Skyrim as soon as it releases?
Yes. There will be more details on preloading Skyrim via Steam closer to release."

The game is released as I bought it in a store but I can't install it because Steam say that it is not yet released.

I understand this marketing strategy for a MMORPG, but Skyrim is not such a game.

I loved the Elder Scroll series since the start, but I don't like to be taken for a dumm.

As a consequence, it is the last time I buy a game from Bethesda.

It hasn't been released officially yet. At what point did you fail to notice this?

So, because some stores disobeyed Bethesda and broke the street date, Bethesda is to blame.

Awesome, go ahead and leave. It's not our problem if you miss out on the best games on the market.

First of all....
The official release date isn't even here yet.
Second of all if your not going to purchase anymore Beth games for a reason like this then you were never a real fan to begin with and nobody will miss you.

Well since it is not yet 11/11/11 it is not released. The location you bought it from gave it to you early. Sorry to disappoint you.

Go away, if that's what causes you to hate Bethesda. You are an incredibly fragile person.

Well, after all, it's your decision, you should keep it to yourself as well, I don't really see a point in your thread.

They didn't lie. Skyrim hasn't been released yet via retail in your region. A store broke their street date (or you got shipped it early). Not Bethesda's fault.

Wait a few hours like the rest of us, geez.

What's your country? Have you tried to enter the CD-key in Steam?

I just pre-loaded my game from Steam here in Finland. Took one hour.
