Launching without the Launcher

Hello there. Not been around for some time, been busy playing skyrim!

However, I've recently been using Steam's Big Picture. As a gamer who enjoys the joypad, this has proven to be an invaluable asset.

However again, Skyrim's Launcher makes it a pain to use Big Picture. I have to get up, get to my computer, use my mouse and launch the game (I hook my computer up to my TV and play from the couch). It would be much more convenient for the modern lazy gamer to be able to just select and go. Of course, I would still like the ability to be able to acess the launcher if I need to do some mod work, but if I could get Steam to ignore the launcher by default, all would be swell.

Apologies if this isn't the correct place.

Thanks
